Infinite space
“Infinite space” starts with the question of physical, virtual and uses limit. How can we maximise the possibilities inside a limited space? First, the cell can be used by anyone as a private element through rental or can be a part of public space. Then, virtual reality extend the possibilities of such a space with the ability to connect anything to it as long as it is equipped with the same system. It can be two working spaces in Tokyo and NYC or a client using the cell as a shopping space in Ginza interacting with a seller located in London… Finally, with this project, the Sony Ginza Park could become the world new virtual crossroad.

This proposal reconceive the notion of limit and how it can evolve in the future. To that end, the project blurs the boundaries between inside and outside, limited and infinite. Finally, the multiplication of those cells into one unique core freed us to work on the behavior of the building with its near context.
